I would see if the door was locked. If it was I would call the police. I have offered to watch a dog for people when I see them go into the store and leave the dog in a hot car. I live in Florida so it is especially bad. I have also waited to see if someone was coming right out of the store.
Barb, I would have to say the same. I would defo stay there for a while and make sure someone was returning. If they did there would be a mouthfull from me… Whether they took notice or not… If they didn’t then well, yah! Fair game I would call the police! Sorry for your luck car driver but I don’t want the dog’s luck to run out while you stand in line for a coffee. If you can’t stay with them or they can’t go in with you… Leave them at home! My philosophy!
