Well Howwwwwddddyyyyyyy!!!! I’m back!

Seems like forever since I last wrote.  Well it has been over a month.  With the holidays and work being busier than ever and school taking up a big part of my free time…  Something had to give and well this is it.

So here I am coming back at ya.  So TV since January has been OK!  I really like the new Life Unexpected.  It is a cute, funny, little show that seemed to catch me right from the first minute! 

Now that Vampire Diaries is back I am even more hooked than I was before, I actually referred to it as my Second fave show after Criminal Minds.  I am still hooked on Ice Road Truckers 2 and Ice Pilots, have to admit I have a little crush on Scott!  http://www.icepilots.com/profile_scott.php 

I have also started watching The Deep End which I am also quite liking… 

I hate to admit that even though I swore I would never watch it, I started watching Grey’s Anatomy with my Grandmother at Christmas and now I am hooked.  Of course I am watching American Idol,

and the rest of my faves, House, NCIS, Criminal Minds, The Metalist, Brothers and Sisters, Bones, Fringe… 

Survivor starts this week Woo Hoo should be good.

America’s Next Top Model is starting in March… 

What else!  Oh ya!  Those Housewives, OC and Atlanta are running at the same time, I really wish they would put the new NYC and New Jersey seasons on, I like them the best.  Mmmm mmm!  TROUBLE (in the words of Travis Tritt!) They are all trouble! 

I miss Tori and Dean.  I REALLY miss my Kate and her Eight and Table for 12

Now as for everything else (yes TV takes up a really big part of my life) Brody and the cats are well.  James and I are trucking along better than ever.  My boss is retiring so work is kind of up in the air right now, however REALLY over the top busy!  School is also keeping me busy.  I am in the throws of completing my last course in Criminal Psych.  I have one assignment, eight profiling cases and one paper to write, before the exam and well them that’s it that’s all folks.  On the other hand, I have to complete my PMP course load and write that Provincial Exam.  I learned my lesson last semester while working full time.  Being James’ girlfriend, Brody and the cats’ Mom, a daughter, sister, a grand-daughter and friend doesn’t make it easy to complete five courses…  So this semester I took two and it is easier, so I think I will stick with that! 

Well that is about it for  now!  I will try to write more often and bring back some of Brody’s funny stories!

Meerkats and Lemurs and New TV Seasons… These are a few of my favourite things……

So…  Jon and Kate Plus 8 is coming back on Aug 3^rd.  I cannot wait.  I don’t care what anyone says I love her, I always have this is not just sympathy because she was married to a jack-a$$.  I will watch and support her till she decides that TV is not where she wants to be.

 BUT…

 I found a site that has announced the premier dates for the Fall Season and well I had to call Rogers and order a few channels!  James is gonna kill me!

 So on September 8^th, the new 90210 is coming back but believe it or not the new MELROSE PLACE is starting!  Yeahaw!  Had to order the CW, CTV just pre-empted 90210 too many times last season!

 September 10^th the Vampire Diaries starts, which is based on a series of books along the lines of the Twilight saga again on The CW….

 What the hell is this ABC Family and WHY CAN I NOT GET IT!  I WANT IT!

 September 16^th So You Think You Can Dance starts for another season.  As well as The Beautiful Life on CW… This is new starring Mischa Barton based on the life of a model….  I’ll give it a try.

 September 17^th Survivor and Bones are BAAAACKKK!  As is Fringe!

 September 21^st Dancing With the Stars starts and House (OMG I cannot wait for this) is coming back with a two hour special.

 September 22^nd NCIS is coming back and Ohhh I think I just wet myself….  NCIS Los Angeles starts.  The Good Wife with Juliana Margulies where she has to go back to work after years out of the work force because her Politian husband is embroiled in a sex scandal.  The Forgotten starts this day too! 

 September 23^rd DWTS, Mercy a new hospital drama, Criminal Minds (Oh I could not be happier,) Law and Order SVU, both come back.  Cougar Town about a single Mother (Courtney Cox) and her teenaged son starts!

 Now Amongst that I have to fit Denise Richards, Parking Wars, Obsessed,

Tori and Dean, about four fugitive shows from A&E, Gene Simmons, The Real Housewives as many as they show of the five series, Hammertime, Ice Road Truckers, Sandhogs, Lemur Street, Meerkat Manor, Miami Ink, LA Ink, Texas Cheerleader Moms, Tuckerville, Table for 12, Toddlers in Tiaras, 18 Kids and Counting, Cake Boss and Ace of Cakes, Dog the Bounty Hunter, Exterminators, The Hills, The Apprentice (Celebrity and other,) The Closer, The Dog Whisperer, Dog Town, At the end of my Leash. 

 I noticed that Mental, Psych, The Listener, The Philanthropist, In Plain Sight were not listed at this time.

 On top of that we KNOW that, American Idol will have new shows and then there will be other tantalizing shows I know I will have to watch that have not been added. 

 Why do they do this to me?  I am getting anxious as we speak!  How in the hell am I ever gonna see all of this?  Oh I love my TV….  Thank-you Mr. Philo Taylor Farnsworth for inventing it…..

So today I bought PEOPLE because my fave Kate Gosselin is on the cover, it was the only publication that was not depicting her as a monster or as having a total breakdown.  So I flip through it.

So then I read the article about Kate Gosselin.  I really am not getting what happened.  They went to Hawaii to renew their vows and now they are getting divorced.  Jon really needs to go to therapy!  He really is having a mid life crisis at 32.  Those kids deserve better!  Marriage is forever! 

So Rachel Griffiths (Sarah on Brothers and Sisters) had a baby….  Don’t really even remember her being pregnant!  So she has an older son get this his name is BANJO!  What the hell….?  So this led me to look up some other crazy celeb baby names!  Bono….  We all know how I feel about Bono…..  His kid is called, Elijah Bob Patricius Guggi Q?  Reeeaaaalllllyyyyy?  Coco, Apple, Trixiebill, Satchel don’t these people like their children?  What happened to Kim, Mary, Jason, Todd?

Did you know that Roma Downey the star of Touched by an Angel is married to Mark Burnett the producer of Survivor?  I sure didn’t.

So apparently the full 80’s fashion resurgence is in swing.  Plastic bracelets, lace tops, crocks replacing jellies, short skirts long shirts,  long fake pearls, skinny jeans, neon (ohhhhhhhh nooooooooooo!)  According to PEOPLE’s stylewatch section it is showing no signs of fading.  I should be happy.  I grew up in the 80’s I have done this before.  It took me a long time to get used to not dressing like that, but to tell you the truth it is hard for me to go back.  Hmmm!  I guess I have to face it I am growing up!   

Garbage STRIKE means that no matter how long you leave your rubbish out by the curb there are no special faries that are going to come and get it.  Don’t put it out!

I have reached 80 views today!  Hmmm, not bad for two four weeks and 19 posts!  As soon as I put my blog on condron.us, it sky rocketed.  Now I see someone put it on the WTF section of Reddit.com.  I don’t care, exposure is exposure!  Thanks to all that are looking.  You don’t know how much the tallied stats excite me!

 You can distribute all the Public Information Material whether it is in print, broadcast or sky writing, if you create the environment and the scenario people are going to come.  If you are asking them to do so, but programming the circumstances to prolong their time doing it you have to pay the consequences!  Sure everyone should be responsible enough to walk away when the allotted or budgeted money for that trip to the casino runs dry, but you have to remember there are desperate people out there and people with addictive personalities….  

 It is the same as the bar who serves too much alcohol and someone drives home under the influence, and kills someone or is killed themselves, that bar is held responsible, why should the casino not be for ruining someone financially!

 Well Easter is upon us. And so means April is already half over!  Colleges and Universities are out this week.  I think this means summer is officially around the corner.  Yeeee Haw!

 I was sad to see Scott leave Idol last night.  I have to say I am really quite bored with this season.  I just don’t get the hype over Adam.  I like Anoop, I want Kris to win…  That’s about it.  I can’t stand Kara DioGuardi.  She is so fake! 

 I was also sad to see Thalia go home on ANTM last night!  I really liked her.  I would have much rather seen, Natalie go.  Spoiled little California girl mixed in with “all the hicks” her words now mine, needs a reality wake up call!

 What else?  Oh we finally watched the PVR’d HOUSE….  WTF?  Wasn’t expecting that….  Now what? 

 Oh well I heard that Bones is ending the season on May 15^th and Motley Crue is starring?  Another WTF…… but I will take it.  Still love them after all these years! 

 I guess season finale time is starting although Brothers and Sisters and Ghost Whisperer showed theirs really early.  March?  What is happening to TV?  There isn’t a scheduled season anymore.  Just networks running what they want when they want.  I find is really hard to invest in a show, when you watch it for three weeks at the beginning of the season and then the fourth to eighth weeks are reruns, then ninth is new, but 10^th through 14^th are reruns, then the season finale and well you wait four months for another new episode!  I guess with the addition of the digital networks TV as we knew it changed.  In some ways its GREAT in some ways, I am not so sure.  I can tell you one thing I would be boycotting my TV in protest any time soon!  LOL!!!!!  I LOOOVVVEEE me some TV!

 So that is it for me for the week, have a great week-end I will be back Tuesday, for a fun filled day of meetings at the office, in fact Wed is exactly the same!  Gonna be a busy week.  Oh well that’s the way I like it!

What do I watch!?

Thanks to the inventor of the PVR and Time-shifting!  I don’t know how I would ever survive without them.  If this was the same person that is two miracles should they not be Sainted?  I was going to try digital cable for three months because it was free, that was back in about 1999!  Here we are 10 years later and I have every channel there is a PVR and Time-shifting.  Can you say addiction!?
